David Philip Hefti in the “Boulangerie” in Donaueschingen
On 8 June 2018, David Philip Hefti will be guest in Donaueschingen at the Boulanger Trio’s “Boulangerie”. This concert series connects concert and salon, traditional chamber music repertoire and contemporary music. David Philip Hefti’s works Lichter Hall – Trio No. 2 for Violin, Violoncello and Piano and Poème noctambule – for Violin and Piano will be performed. A talk between David Philip Hefti and the Boulanger Trio about Hefti’s works will also be part of the concert.

David Philip Hefti represents Switzerland at the World New Music Days in Beijing
David Philip Hefti represents at the Beijing Modern Music Festival the Swiss section of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) at the World New Music Days on 24 May 2018 with his piece à la recherche… – for clarinet, viola and piano.
à la recherche… – for clarinet, viola and piano was composed in 2017 to a commission from the Swiss Chamber Concerts for François Benda, Jürg Dähler and Gilles Vonsattel, to whom it is also dedicated. They also gave the world première of the work on 25 October 2017 in Zurich.

World Premiere of Hefti's An durchsichtigen Fäden
On 19 April 2018 David Philip Hefti’s new work An durchsichtigen Fäden – for mezzo soprano and string quartet to a poem by Kurt Aebli will be world premiered by the Amaryllis Quartett and the mezzo soprano Maria Riccarda Wesseling in Lübeck.
Further performances will take place on 22 April 2018 in Hamburg and on 24 April 2018 in Bremen.
